We've been looking for a Dallas store for a while now and who better to partner with than Elliott's Hardware. Their new location at 9540 Casa Linda Plaza is not only hardware but also houses Elliott's Backyard, a barbecue super store. We are proud Elliott's asked Big Hat to be their premier supplier of offset steel Texas made smokers.
The Stock Show is under way and Big Hat has it's usual spot in front of the John Justin Arena. We've added a few items to our line of Smokers and Grills and brought along two custom fabricated trailers. Stop by and see the new Meat Locker one of our incredible new smokers.
We didn't think we would find a better ice chest/cooler than Yeti but we have, Brute Outdoors Coolers. Big Hat is proud to be the newest distributor of Brute Coolers. They are made in America, they hold ice longer, the design is far better and they look out for and listen to their clientele. A better product for less money, that's what sold it for Big Hat.
Fort Worth's newest high end barbeque store, Backyard Grilling Company, is up and cooking. They have also signed on to be the newest Big Hat Smokers and Grills dealer. Every Big Hat model smoker will be available at 6125 SW Loop 820 Suite 140 in the Cityview Centre next to Academy. We are very excited to partner with a Fort Worth based family owned and operated business.
Big Hat has partnered with the most highly recognized thermometer manufacturer in the world to create our own Big Hat thermometer. As our product line grows and improves we are looking for more ways to continue to set Big Hat apart from all other smoker manufacturers. Just as Smokemaster did in their day Big Hat is doing with our custom thermometers. We went with a 3" dial and a 4" stem, 100/500 degree range, tapped and mounted and ready to go. 
Big Hat's newest authorized dealer is Elliott's True Value in Plano, Texas. Elliott's may be the home to the largest Bar-B-Q Grill and Accessories department in the entire DFW metroplex. We are excited about this opportunity to partner with an organization with the reputation of Elliott's True Value Hardware. They have every Big Hat Smoker and Grill on display now.
Moving to the next level, re-branding, announcing our presence with authority or just lookin for a change, whatever you want to call it, we've designed an incredible new logo. The hat was a great way to start and it is now recognized throughout the vast Texas and National BBQ communities. But, the same way our Big Hat Smokers and Grills themselves have evolved over the past few years we felt the visual branding should too. We are so proud of our new design and the reviews and comments about the look and the "cook" are incredible. Since we started using a laser cutter the lines are cleaner, the tolerances are tighter and the entire unit is sealed. I've included a few videos of the state of the art process we now use to manufacture a Big Hat Smoker Grill.
